If you love chilli-infused anything, and can’t get your hands on enough spicy notes in your food-related adventures, here are two easy cocktail recipes that will satiate any appetite for the hotter side of life. If making them at home proves too much of a hassle, you can always pop into East London for a laid back tipple, too.

Firefly (chilli infused tequilia, mango,yuzu, agave)

  • 45 mls chilli infused tequila
  • 30 mls mango puree
  • 20 mls lemon juice
  • 20 mls Yuzu sake
  • 5 mls agave syrup

Add ingredients to shaker. Shake thoroughly. Chilli salt rim on a Coupe glass and double strain shaker ingredients into the glass.

Grow a Pear (Sailor Jerry spiced rum, pear puree, Frangelico, mint & cinnamon)

  • 45mls Sailor Jerrys spiced rum
  • 30 mls spiced pear puree
  • 30 mls apple juice
  • 15 mls lime juice
  • 15 mls Frangelico
  • 10 mls sugar syrup

Add ingredients to shaker. Shake thoroughly and pour over fresh ice into rocks glass. Garnish with cinnamon stick and mint and a dash of bitters on the top.
